Funding is made available in three categories:

- Community Support: Inviting more organisations and communities to identify the community level barriers and addressing the same thereby increasing child care participation
- Capital Support: Building, renovating, modifying or extending the child care premises in the above mentioned areas where the demand is unmet.
Research Grants for Medical Centers
One of the prominent grants of $1 million funded by the Federal Government is aimed at providing assistance to the researchers who are in engaged in medical field. Projects that are sure to create potentially positive impact on the fitness and wellbeing of the citizens can claim for this grant. The good news is one can claim a grant of up to 100% spanning a tenure of up to one year.
Eligibility criteria:
- having an ABN is a must
- Australian incorporation essential
- Medical institutes/organisations, universities and corporations, both profitable and non-profitable are eligible
The minimum funding under this grant is capped at $250,000 and the maximum amount that can be claimed is $1 million.
Early Health Care and Research Funding
Another grant funded by the Federal Government is aimed at providing assistance those health businesses that are involved in nurturing early health care and its research.
To be able to apply for this grant, businesses must:
- possess an ABN
- GST registration is a must
- Must have an Australian incorporation
- Medical institutes/organisations, universities and corporations, both profitable and non-profitable are eligible
Many state governments are coming up with a number of grants apart in line with the grants provided by the Federal Government.
