Grants for Improved Waste Management Projects
The NSW government has undertaken several initiatives to ensure the safety and sustainability of our environment. These long term strategies are implemented with a targeted approach to assisting each individual sector.
The NSW government has allocated over $300 million to improve waste management processes and increase efficiency in the sector. The program provides funding for activities targeted at recycling business waste, organics collection, market development and tackling illegal dumping and littering. The program aims to implement innovative measures to protect the environment and support investment in new waste management projects.
Who can apply?
Any businesses with 1 to maximum 400 full time equivalent employees, and facility managers and small-scale recyclers responsible for managing the waste of small to medium-sized businesses are encouraged to submit applications.
