This program is designed to offer assistance to technology development SMEs involved in five sectors. They are e-health, advanced manufacturing, energy products and services, online and interactive education, and transport, logistics and infrastructure.
As of right now there are numerous grants covered by three types of funding programs within Innovate NSW. The first is the Minimum Viable Product (MVP). MVP grants provide up to 50% of approved project costs and total funding can go up to $15,000. They aim to help technology focused SMEs to push ideas, prove concepts, and develop prototypes. The second is Tech Vouchers. These grants offer up to 50% of approved project costs and can also go up to $15,000. They link up technology SMEs with NSW research organisations to overcome industry challenges. Third, grants within the Collaborative Solutions program offer up to 25% of approved projects costs with a maximum of $100,000. They help SMEs develop solutions to partake in high growth opportunities or overcome challenges in key sectors.
