The Australian government hails this grant as a key priority. It was designed to encourage SMEs that do not pay payroll tax to hire new employees and further develop and expand their business.
Conditions:
There are two main requirements you must meet before applying for the grant and that includes having an active ABN and not having any payroll tax liability. This grant offers a one-off payment per new position created and every full-time employee hired earns $2,000. A pro-rated amount will be implemented for part time or casual employees.
